Finley Lau is an Ensemble Member of Bridge Percussion.

Finley is a Database Software Engineer and Freelance Percussionist from the suburbs of Chicago. Aside from being an ensemble member of Bridge Percussion, he is also in charge of developing the Bridge Percussion website and newsletter. In 2019, Finley was a finalist in the Italy PAS Percussive Arts Web Contest with his percussion quartet SYNTHESIS. Finley frequently performs with various community ensembles throughout the Chicagoland area, such as Lakeside Pride, Lakeshore Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, and the Evanston Symphony Orchestra.

Finley holds a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northwestern University where he studied with She-e Wu, Christopher Lamb, Ed Stephan, and Jon Deitemyer. In his free time, Finley likes to play with his dog, go running on the lakefront trail, and play various recreational sports.
