This performance is in collaboration with the Civic Orchestra Of Chicago and the Negaunee Music Institute. Highlights: Philip Glass’ ethereal Madeira River and Amazon River; Clark Hubbard’s rock and breakbeat-inspired Stardust; Mag7, an exhilarating percussion septet by Michael Burritt; songs by Sachi Keiko, Grimes, and Celeste arranged by Bridge Percussion.

This is a free event, with a suggested donation of $10.

How to get to Buntrock Hall:

If entering from the Symphony Store entrance on Adams St (RECOMMENDED)

  • Walk through the hallway, past security. Go up the spiral staircase, and you will see Buntrock Hall directly in front of you on the 2nd floor.

If entering from the Symphony Center front doors on Michigan Ave:

  • Turn right after walking through the doors and go into the hallway marked “Arcade”. Then turn left and walk through the entire Arcade hallway until you reach the Rotunda (you will see the spiral stairs). Go up the spiral staircase, and you will see Buntrock Hall directly in front of you on the 2nd floor.
